Aisha Dee is an Australian actress who currently stars in the Freeform show The Bold Type as Kat Edison. In 2008 she got her first major role as Desi Biggins on the Australian-Canadian children’s series The Saddle Club. She went on to nab the recurring role of Christine in the Australian-British show Dead Gorgeous in 2010. Then, from 2011 to 2013, Aisha starred as Mackenzie Miller in the Fox sitcom I Hate My Teenage Daughter. She joined the ABC Family ‘family’ in 2014, co-starring as Elizabeth “Beth” Kingston in the series Chasing Life. Aisha returned to the renamed and rebranded Freeform in 2016 for The Bold Type, in which her character Kat is the social media director at Scarlet magazine.
