Caitlyn Jenner Will Reportedly Pose Nude on a 'Sports Illustrated' Cover

In an August 2015 blog post, Caitlyn Jenner showed interested parties exactly where she’d been keeping her “most-prized possession,” her Olympic gold medal: at the bottom of her makeup drawer. She never kept it on display because, she said, “I didn’t want [my kids] to constantly compare their own achievements to my time in the Olympics.” (Which is fair, because there was definitely no way Brody Jenner was ever going to compete in the Olympics.)

It’s been exactly 40 years since the 66-year-old athlete and reality star, then known as Bruce, set the world decathlon (I consulted Wikipedia, and this means “a combined event in athletics consisting of ten track and field events”) record at the 1976 Montreal Summer Games. “I’m very proud of this,” Caitlyn said of her medal last year. “That was a great time in my life. But to be honest with you, it’s an even greater time in my life right now, with what I’m trying to accomplish.”

And to celebrate the anniversary of the second-greatest time in her life, sources say Caitlyn will be featured on a summer cover of Sports Illustrated wearin’ nothin’ but an American flag and that well-deserved medal, marking the first time she’ll be photographed with it post-transition. Go, girl—and get that patriotic cover while you can, because it doesn’t really matter whether or not your buddy Donald Trump personally permitted you to pee in his restroom. Heaven forbid that man gets elected, your rights—and all women’s rights and gay rights and immigrants’ rights and the rights of anyone who isn’t a white man—will get flushed down that same toilet. #AMERICA
